24/7 Dispatch (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides AI-powered receptionist and call-handling services for small businesses. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all information handled by our systems.
Information We Collect
Call Recordings & Transcripts: Calls handled by our AI may be recorded and transcribed. Callers hear: “This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes.” We collect audio recordings, transcripts, caller contact info, and call metadata (time, duration, purpose).
Business Information: Clients may provide booking rules, pricing, schedules, and service details.
System Data: We collect IP addresses, device types, logs, and usage metrics.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide our AI receptionist service, for quality control and training, to improve accuracy, troubleshoot, and to follow specific client instructions.
Sharing of Information: We never sell or rent personal data. We never share call recordings or transcripts without explicit written consent, except as required by law. Third-party providers only access what’s needed to operate the service and are bound by strict security requirements.
Access & Deletion: Clients may request access to or deletion of call recordings, transcripts, and account data. Recordings are normally stored for 30–60 days unless requested otherwise.
Security, Caller Rights & Compliance
Security: We use encrypted storage, role-based access, secure authentication, and routine security checks to safeguard data.
Caller Rights: Callers may request access to recordings, deletion of recordings, and clarification on data usage.
Compliance: We follow Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), U.S. call-recording laws, and general data protection principles.
